The Counting Sheep, have been an iconic spokesperson for (while being against) the Serta Perfect Sleeper for almost 20 years. It was time to put a fresh spin on the relationship people had with these sheep, specifically once the people have moved on to greener pastures.

So, we teamed up with cinematic relationship guru, John Hamburg, who has written and/or directed, blockbuster relationship films to the likes of Meet the Parents, I Love You, Man and Along Came Polly to ensure these breakups feel as authentic as possible when dealing with animated sheep.

Because breakups are hard. But breaking up with sheep? Well, that can just get weird.
